Course Profile: Certified Home Care Assistant
Course Description (Professional Purpose)
This program is designed to train Home Care Assistants capable of providing high-quality support to vulnerable individuals (the elderly, people with disabilities, or those recovering from illness) within their own homes. Following the CBA methodology, students do not just learn theory; they develop the practical skills needed to assist with daily living activities while preserving the client’s autonomy, dignity, and safety. The goal is to produce compassionate professionals who can manage the delicate balance between technical assistance and social support.
Competency Framework (The Core of CBA)
The curriculum is divided into Competency Units (CU) to ensure immediate workplace readiness:

Basic Information

Certification: Preparation for the Professional Qualification Diploma (DQP) or CQP in Home Support Services.

Format: Hybrid learning on MasterStudy LMS (Interactive video modules + Practical simulation workshops + Supervised internship).
